Tezpur University is moderately strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology. The eligibility criteria include a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 standard or equivalent examination with pass marks in Physics, Mathematics, Language, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subject, and any other subject. Additionally, candidates are required to be qualified in the JEE (Main) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), and admission is based on All India Rank (CRL) of JEE (Main).
