Dibrugarh University is strict when it comes to eligibility requirements for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) as it requires at least 50% marks in aggregate either in Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities or Bachelor's in Engg./Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. Relaxation of 5% is provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD categories, having a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, or meeting other specific criteria.
