The Institute of Dental Sciences has a strict eligibility requirement for the BDS course, which includes:
* Passing 10+2 exam or equivalent degree with at least 50% from a recognised institute
* Qualifying the national level NEET exam
* Meeting the age requirement of 17 years at the time of admission
* Passing subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, & Biology individually in the qualifying examinations.For Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, & Biology taken together in the qualifying examination should be 40% instead of 50%.
