How strict is this college when it comes to the eligibility requirements of BTech in CSE at Maharana Pratap Engg. College?

<p>The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.Tech in Computer Science and Engg. at Maharana Pratap Engg. College. The requirements include passing 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of these - Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engg. Graphics/ Business Studies, and obtaining at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Alternatively, candidates can also be eligible if they have passed a Diploma (in Engg. and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first Year, or have a Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in any branch of Engg. and Technology for lateral entry.</p>
