How strict is this college when it comes to the eligibility requirements of BTech in CSE at Techno International New Town?

<p>Techno international new Town (TINT) is very particular in assessing the eligibility of candidates in the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. The admission of the college is governed by the rules provided by MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology) and West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). This is what you have to understand:<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Eligibility Tests: It is clear that TINT needs all applicants to possess:</strong></span><br><br>Has secured 10+2 with an aggregate of 45 percent in physics, mathematics and any one of the qualifying subjects (there is relaxation of 5 percent in case of reserved categories).<br><br>Minimum 30 per cent marks obtained in English in the 12 th standard.<br><br>A good mark in the WBJEE or a JEE main examination, after which there is counselling and verification of documents.<br><br>As a proof during admission all original documents (mark sheets, admit cards, certificates) need to be presented.<br><br>No Relaxation without Official Declaration: There is no unofficial zone out or by passing of the declared reported criteria. Various sources point out that anyone who fails to comply with the minimum requirements or have genuine documents as well as entrance exam marks will be denied admission.<br><br><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cutoff Enforcement: </span></strong>Candidates will have to secure a rank in the desirable range of the WBJEE or JEE Main cut off (WBJEE being the top 40,000 cut off usually).<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Selection &amp; Merit: </span>Candidates who even have the minimum aggregate score have to pass all the designated procedures: an online application, entrance qualification, merit list appearance and verification of documents. Seats are only offered to short listed candidates.<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Bottom line:</span><br>Techno International New Town does not entertain under-qualified people and vets thoroughly all considerations of eligibility at each big step out of the application and into the admission. Before the application, the prospective students are supposed to ensure that they have all the requirements because the college is stringent in implementing the rules.</p>

The candidate must have a valid rank in WBJEE or JEE Main, and they should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Vocational subjects, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates). Additionally, the candidate needs to provide various documents such as income certificate, caste certificate, and EWS certificate (if applicable) during admission.</p>
