The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) at Assam Medical College. The candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Science stream with not less than 50% marks in aggregate with combination of P.C.M. or P.C.B or P.C.M.B with English as one of the subject. The age limit for admission is between 17 to 24 years. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks is 45% and age may be relaxed by 3 years.
