The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of M.Sc. Tech. in Applied Geophysics at IIT Dhanbad. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Master's degree in Science from Institutes recognized by the Government, with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.0. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must have a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5.
