    The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of M.Tech. in Biotechnology at NIT Rourkela, with a required CGPA of 6.5 or 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination, and relaxation up to 5% of marks or 0.5 CGPA is allowed by senate for sponsored candidates with proven research or profession experience.
