<p>The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at BIT Mesra. Candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / equivalent degree in the appropriate disciplines / Branches with a minimum 55% marks in average (50% for SC/ST) in graduation / MCA, or M.Sc. / M.A. degree or equivalent in the appropriate disciplines / branches with 55% (50% for SC/ST), after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification. GATE-qualified candidates will be considered for admission without any screening test, while non-GATE candidates will have to go through an online screening test. The final selection shall be based on the test scores and academic performance, provided that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned.</p>
