The college is moderately strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of MBBS at Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital. The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects from any recognised board, and secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. They must also have appeared for NEET UG and secured a valid scorecard, and completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
