How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.E. / B.Tech students at IIT Roorkee?

Around 60% of students reportedly got placed, with some prominent companies visiting the campus for recruitment purposes. Additionally, most students managed to secure internships from the college. While improvements can still be made, the placement cell seems to be doing reasonably well in terms of facilitating career prospects for students.
