Most students who attended the college reported that:<br /><br />* Rarely 2-3 companies visit the campus for placements, and only one or two students get placed.<br />* Not a single company visited the campus during the reviewer's batch (2016-2019).<br />* The placement cell does not organize any placement drives.<br />* Some fake companies (like HDFC) allegedly visited the campus, asking for a deposit of Rs. 1,00,000, but did not offer genuine placements.<br />* Even when companies do visit, the placements are limited, and students need to "make efforts" to approach them.<br /><br />While some students praised the quality of education and faculty expertise, the lack of success in securing jobs for BCA students is a significant concern. Therefore, we cannot conclude that the placement cell is successful in securing jobs for BCA students at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College.
