How the faculty, infrastructure and labs?

Well facilities for mechanical branch is quite good. There are well equipped labs having CNCs, lathes, milling machines, serological lab, heat engines lab, fluid mechanics lab, etc. Moreover there are a number of student projects which hemp you to gain practical knowledge. Also one can approach teachers for projects to gain extra knowledge. As for aeronautical, what I have heard from people(since it's not my branch), the faculty is quite supportive. People are given projects frequently which help them gain practical knowledge. Also there's a team called aero MIT in our college which makes project and participate in international events and even get rewards for that. If someone's really into aeronautical, one should definitely be in that team. And as far as the labs are concerned, there is jet propulsion lab, and rest of the labs remain same with mechanical.
