Hi Sakshi, Being an education consultant I can tell you efficiently that Bachelor's degree in agriculture is a big demanding degree now a days even in the government sector. I know about one of the premier institution in India which is situated in Jalandhar, Punjab "lovely professional University" this is India's first private University to get the ICAR accreditation. I am a resident of Jalandhar city so I know enough of LPU. It is a lush green campus in more than 600 acres of land. If I am not wrong they have allocated approximately 20 to 30 acres of land to the students of school of agriculture just for the research purpose. I have heard that online admissions are still going on and one can proceed through their website or can call at toll free number of the university. In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which LPU NEST is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPU NEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here I am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.Sc. Hons Agriculture programme I. e. Dear Student, B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This programme equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. LPU has Hons programme in same as B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, which is a 4 year course in total. Being an alumni of LPU I would rather say that the school of Agriculture in Lovely Professional University is among the best place for pursuing the B.Sc. In agriculture. Firstly you need to sign up and then go for LPU NEST.
