There are some private institutions which allow you to take admission directly after class 12 or/and also have management quota. To take part in Government colleges, you need to clear Entrance Test and then after counselling, you get a college based on your marks.

It depends upon the college you want to choose, some private colleges will give you direct admission by your 12th board marks with Science field and government colleges will take entrance test to identify your personal ability of knowledge.
