The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course is 10+2 from a recognised board of education or equivalent, with minimum 50% marks in total and also having Mathematics as subject in the qualifying examination. Some colleges such as government universities such as IGNOU allow non-maths students to seek admission in BCA.

7 years agoFor admission to BCA course, a student must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned above. Admission to regular BCA course is generally done through a common entrance test conducted by respective universities. CETs are a few entrance tests conducted by some top institutes for providing admission to the course.
Application process for BCA entrance test usually starts in the month of May and June. Students have to apply to respective institutes in both online as well as offline modes. BCA entrance test is generally of objective type.
