    For admission to IIT Madras, candidates have to apply through CAT official portal. The application forms of CAT 2024 are available on the official website. Steps to fill CAT application form are given below: 

    • Visit the official website of CAT (iimcat. ac. in) and click on the "Registration" link. 
    • Fill out the registration form with your personal and academic details.
    • You will also need to upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents.
    • Pay the registration fee online through the available payment modes.

Yes, COAP registration is mandatory for IIT Madras admissions done on the basis of GATE exam. The institute accepts GATE + COAP for both M.Tech and MA admissions. Any student choosing to register via GATE score at the institute must register on COAP portal as well.
