How to apply for LPU-NEST 2019?

1. The candidates can register themselves on the website through online mode only. 2. Candidates have to fill the basic details to generate the application number and password for subsequent logins. 3. The application process will be started on different dates for all offered courses. Candidates can apply as per the course for which they are seeking admission. 4. At the time of filling LPU-NEST 2019 Application Form, candidates need to fill the exam center preference and book the slot for the online exam. 5. The application form will be considered as completed only after the payment of application fee.

Dear Student, Since I am not sure about which stream are you asking about, LPU has compulsorily put entrance for admission in seven disciplines - B.Tech, MBA, Hotel Management, Paramedical Sciences, Law and Agriculture. Without clearing the entrance exam, one cannot get an admission in any of these. STEP 1 – Signup Register onto LPU's admission portal with basic details (Name, Email ID and Mobile No). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the LPU's admission portal with already created username / password. STEP 2 - Apply for LPU-NEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test) LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in. Admission in these programmes is done based on performance in LPU-NEST. In addition, LPU-NEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee (Male Applicant: Rs. 500/-, Female Applicant: Rs. 250/- ) Fill the test application form: STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear Book the slot (preferred date, time and venue) to appear in the test. This test would be conducted in more than 200 cities pan India. Download the hall ticket. Appear in the test. STEP 4 - Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling) Get your scorecard / rank. Fill the seat preference. The student can give preferences which can vary in stream and programme. In the first round of counseling, depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted. Download the allotment letter. Well, I came to know from the counselors that due to COVID-19 LPU has relaxed the eligibility norms and waived off LPU NEST for most of the courses (you need to check the website aaa particular course) but still you can appear for the same for availing the benefit of scholarship. As, LPU NEST serves two purposes eligibility and scholarship which is conducted for various courses, you have to buy LPU NEST kit to appear before LPU NEST. LPU NEST Kit includes following: 1. Information Booklet which details about the different faculty members, disciplines, campus life, labs, placements, etc. 2. LPU NEST Booklet specifies the courses for which LPU NEST in compulsory, eligibility, fee, scholarship, how to apply, test patter, important dates, etc. 3. OMR Sheet and Seat Preference Form In addition to this, you can apply for LPU NEST online as well as for most of the courses remotely proctored online test will be conducted. Hope this helps.
