Aspirants can also apply for MBA with Karnataka PGCET, CMAT or MAT scores. Candidates seeking admission in MCA can also apply through Karnataka PGCET scores.

No, admissions at RNS Institute of Technology is entrance-based. The institute considers scores of the candidates in KMAT, PGCET, CMAT or MAT for MBA. Admission to BE programme is based on KCET, COMEDK or JEE Main scores of the aspirants. Besides, the selection for MCA and M.Tech programmes is based on Karnataka PGCET scores. While deciding between RNSIT and CMRIT, look at their overall profile. Both institutions have good placement, but higher salary packages were reported by CMRIT with a maximum of 16 LPA by VMware, while it was slightly lesser for RNSIT at 7-8 LPA. Both have similar infrastructure, but RNSIT is usually picked for its placement situation and the facilities. Both academically are well-known, with CMRIT having a slightly better student rating of 4.1 against RNSIT's 4.0. Finally, the decision rests on your preferences for placements, infrastructure, and academic reputation.
