How to avoid common mistakes in IIFT?

There are several common mistakes done by the students: 1. Not having a proper timetable: Many of the students do not have their timetable which is the most and which is not being followed by them as they prepare timetable but didn't follow them. 2. Not revising properly Students think that they do not need revision as they have done this before but it's totally wrong. Revision is a must to increase your speed to increase your knowledge. When you revise for your topics in the exam, you can easily solve day without taking more time. 3 Missing mock test A lot of students do not give the mock test and they directly go for the exam. In this, they are making the biggest mistake because mock test help you for your final exam and while preparing for mock test, you are preparing for your finals. Also mock test gives you an idea about how much you can score in final. 4. Not clearing the doubts Just once, don't feel shy to clear the doubts. If you have some doubts at that time you should ask your faculty and clear those doubts. 5 Not analysing their mock test After giving the mock test, they just check the result. They do not analyse the question paper that what types of mistakes they have done where they didn't perform well. This over-analysis should be done by students while preparing These are few common mistakes done by the students while preparing for IIFT if they avoid these mistakes then they easily crack all the exams for MBA for MBA entrance like IIFT, SNAP, CET, CAT, MAT, GMAT, NMAT and XAT.

The candidates should see the question paper scientifically and diagnostically. Prior to that, while taking coaching equal and balanced focus on every topic is necessary and important. To achieve IIFT group discussions are prime and important with relevant concurrent knowledge on the issues that are happening globally. However, at the top, sufficient knowledge on contemporary issues makes it different to achieve IIFT seats. IIFT expects knowledge on international trade and organisations and other related contemporary issues.It is very much necessary to be on time at the test venue to avoid any sort of panic.

Below are the few tips to avoid mistakes in IIFT: - Last minute preparation: To give your best. Do not learn new tricks at the very last moment. This increases chances of confusion especially in case of mathematics problems. - Don't get stuck: If you feel the problem is taking time, then leave and move to next. There is no point in wasting time in something which you don't know or which is taking time. It’s better to attempt 2 simpler questions than to crack a difficult one. - Enter with open mind: Our suggestion is not to get biased or limit you in attempting the number of questions. You may or may not attempt all the questions in all the sections, given the time constraint or for fear of getting penalty for wrong answer. - Be punctual: It is very much necessary to be on time at the test venue to avoid any sort of panic. Be cool and keep confidence while appearing.

Common mistakes are common across exams and applicants. There are no specific ways to avoid them, but I have mentioned it across various similar questions as well that 'silly mistakes' is a behavioral trait rather than skill or knowledge deficiency. Hence, practice is the only way to attain the behavior. It is important that you practice lot of mocks and papers before the main exam. This will give you confidence and sense of familiarity during the paper. Practicing will also give you the mistakes that you keep committing every now and then. Commit as many mistakes as you can in first few mocks. More you practice, sooner will you run out of common mistakes to commit. Don’t stress out. If you feel the paper is way too tough or way too easy for what you’ve practiced, don’t worry about it. The general trend will be the same and so your score will be normalized accordingly. Just keep attempting as many as you can. If you keep this in mind while taking the exam, you won't stress out and hence you won't commit silly mistakes.
