    DGCA (Central Examination Organisation) conducts written examination for issue of licenses to Pilots and Engineers. DGCA issues the following flight crew licenses under the provisions of Rule 38 and Schedule II of the Aircraft Rules, 1937.
    (a) Pilot
    (b )Flight Instructor or Assistant Flight Instructor
    (c) Flight Navigator
    (d) Flight Engineer
    (e) Flight Radio Telephone Operator
    There are three types of Pilots license Student Pilot Licence (SPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
