    Hi,
To be an educationist or an academician, you need to take up degrees like B.Sc/B.Com/B.A hons preferably from which ever stream you wish. Once you have done that you can go for Master's in the same subject. If you wish to join universities, you need to take NET and for this p.hd is also better. For schools, you will pursue B Ed or B.El.ed for elementary school teaching.
There could be other roles also possible in education these days.

    Hi,
You can pursue up to Master's degree and Ph.D level. With your Master's degree and Ph.D level, you need to write research papers for the recognition and get good numbers of experience in teaching to enter into league of best academician or educationist.
    All the best.
