Hi, Beauticians provide clients with a range of personal beauty care treatments. Treatments may include manicures, pedicures, facials, massage, hair removal and make-up. This is a popular occupation For a career as a Beautician, it is essential to have a smart, well-groomed appearance and a high standard of personal hygiene. Good health is important, as the work can be strenuous and tiring. Beauticians should be friendly, approachable and have good communication skills. To become a beautician there is no specific entry qualification to enter the field, except for an interest, inclination and the desire to keep learning in the field. It is the experience and hands on practice that counts. Earning in this field vary widely depending upon a number of factors such as the size and location of the beauty parlor, the number of hours worked and customer’s tipping habits.
