    While pursuing this course you may opt for specialization in:
    - Front office.
    - Food and beverage services.
    - Food and beverages production (cooking and baking)
    - House keeping.

    Hi,
    - A chef is one who prepares food in a hotel, restaurant, fast food joint or catering establishment. Beside being the chief cook, a chef plans menus, orders foodstuff, oversees preparation and supervises the kitchen staff.
    - To be a chef you must have a professional culinary training. To start your career as a chef you must complete your class X to join the Diploma Course in Food Craft. In order to opt for a degree course in Culinary Arts one must complete 10+2 in any stream.
    - As a chef, you have wide range of career prospects.

They should pursue the course from a recognized Hotel Management institute so as to get a jump start career in top restaurants or hotels.
