    - To become a chef you must have a professional culinary training. To start your career as a chef you must complete your class X to join the Diploma Course in Food Craft. In order to opt for a degree course in Culinary Arts one must complete 10+2 in any stream.

    Hi,
    As you are interested in becoming a chef so in that case you may consider pursuing BHM (Bachelor degree in Hotel Management) after completing your class 12th.
    In order to pursue this course you need to be 12th pass from any stream with good academic record preferably 40%-50% in 12th with English as one of the subjects, plus you need to take entrance test conducted by various institutes.
    While pursuing this course you may opt for specialization in:
    - Front office.
    - Food and beverage services.
    - Food and beverages production (cooking and baking)
    - House keeping.
