How to become a costume designer in films after doing B.Design?

Hi Nishana, In order to become a costume designer in films, you will have to pave your path slowly as Bollywood is very competitive. You can start by applying to big fashion houses as intern or employee, whichever way they are willing to hire you. Do not consider money as the prime factor in the beginning. As you gain some knowledge and experience, you can then start applying to different production houses that produce TV series or movies. You can also apply to advertising agencies for small projects which will add to your resume. Having a good resume and talent that speaks, you will definitely bag a good job in films and Television as a costume designer.
