    To become a Criminal Lawyer you first need to complete your basic education (10+2). Then clear any law entrance exam like CLAT or LSAT and take admission in LLB, where you can focus on electives and subjects related to Criminal Law. After getting a LLB degree you can then specialise in Criminal Law while pursing LLM. Once you complete your legal education, then you need obtain a liscence (COP- Certificate of Practice) after passing AIBE exam, conducted by the Bar Council of India.  

    Moreover, you can go for internships in the field of Criminal Law and make further contacts for a career grwoth. You can also go for certification
