    1.Generally, film directors have taken a professional course in film production before starting their careers in this field.
    2. If your previous studies were in a different field, you must complete a diploma or certificate course in a related field. For example, you can do a diploma in direction screenplay writing and television production, a diploma in film technology and television production (cinematography), or a certificate in advanced direction.
    3. If you are already studying a related field, after completing your course, you can apply to work as an assistant director.
