    Becoming a journalist can be a fun and rewarding job, but getting that job starts with a good education and a desire to work hard.
    If you are committed to become a journalist, I may suggest you with the following steps:-
    1. Choose the right college: an accredited school that not only offers journalism degree, but a place to practice your craft.
    2. Decide which type of journalism you're going to pursue: Journalists work in all types of media including newspapers, magazines, photo, television and online.
    3. Get an internship: it will provide real-world experience and give you an in at at least one media outlet.

    Journalism is the business of giving news. Journalists work for newspapers, magazines, regional dailies, the electronic medium, websites and for government & public sector publications.
    How to get there-
    *Class XII (any subject) followed by an undergraduate degree in journalism /any discipline for specialist writing
    *Graduates can pursue a professional degree/diploma in journalism from an institute of journalism
    *Apprenticeship positions are filled by graduates with a newspaper for supervised training
    *Courses in journalism are offered in English, Hindi and regional languages
