I am pursuing B.A program from Isabella Thoburn College (Lucknow University).

    Almost all Universities, their affiliated colleges offer MA in Psychology. Some Univversities offer MSc in Applied Psychology

    It's good to know that you have interest in Psychology field.
    1) Well, to understand the field well and enhance your career options as a Psychologist, you need to obtain a degree in Psychology or allied subjects. The course will help you understand and deal with human mind and behavior.
    2) You may then go for Post graduation in the desired branch of Psychology :
    -You may opt for Clinical Psychology to work as a Psychologist in hospitals, rehabilitation centers etc.
    -You may opt for Counseling Psychology to work as a counselor in schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers etc.

    To become a successful psychologist in India, you will have to follow an entire degree course; that is Bachelor's program in psychology, followed by Master's degree, and then PhD in this subject.
    Other Options that can help you in knowing- how to become psychologist in India:
    -You can enroll into one year diploma course in psychology under guidance and counseling.
    -Opt for certification courses (6 months- 1 year) after you have completed your graduation, conducted by qualified psychologists and afterwards, you can become a member of Association of Professional Psychologists.
