You have to do MBBS to become a radiologist. There are two jobs starting with radio. In the medical field. Radiologist - is a specialist in viewing and interpreting x-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound scans, etc. The career pathway is 12th standard (or equivalent) MBBS, Radiologist. The pay scale is about 1 lakh (starting) in India. You would rarely see a radiologist as he is busy in a dark room viewing the studies and giving reports. Radiographer - is a technician who handles the machines such and x-rays, CT scans, MRI, etc. The career pathway is 12th standard (or equivalent) B.Sc in imaging/Diploma in medical imaging technology (DMIT)....more
