How to become a research scientist?

I'm a XII student of Don Bosco HSS Puthuppally. I scored 82% in Higher secondary. Now pursuing B.tech EEE from saint gits college of engineering with aggregate of 67 % upto 5th semester (may be 70% aggregate for entire b.tech degree).

Hi, Plan on attaining at least a Master's degree to become a research scientist, the minimum requirement to become involved in research and development in most industries. However, if your goal is to become engaged in independent research, then plan on obtaining a Doctorate. A few popular options
