how to become a subsea pipeline or pipeline engineer in petroleum industry ?

if i am pursuing my btech in mechanical in NIT surathkal which course to undertake for the above job .......if not any specific course to other than mechanical .....and companies like BPCL and IOCL recruit mechanical engineers for which prospective in their org.

Hi Nitin, I have heard of an institute UPES which is know for course specific programs like pipeline engineering in energy core sectors. One of my friend is studying a B. Tech Applied Petroleum Engineering program that trains in Petroleum Engineering and focuses primarily on Exploration & Production
