How to become an inflight chef?

Hi Nidhi, The process of becoming an inflight chef starts with professional culinary training. After completing your 12th boards, look for good culinary schools in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad or Goa. Basically, any course that offers an international experience (semester abroad, focus on French/Italian cuisine, etc.) will give you an edge if you want to be an inflight chef. After that, you will definitely have to work 3 or more years in a reputed restaurant’s kitchen before you can start applying to airlines. Depending on the airline, you’ll have to undergo cabin crew training and if you pass all the necessary tests, you will become qualified to serve as an inflight chef for first class cabins.
