    IISER Kolkata BS + MS cutoff will be based on JEE Advanced 2023. The general category students may require a minimum Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata cutoff of 5000 to 9000th rank for BS + MS. OBC students can expect a cutoff of 7000 to 10000th rank.

According to IISER Kolkata NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year placements 2023 stood at INR 7 LPA. Further, a total of 11 students were placed and 83 students opted for higher studies out of total 169 students during IISER Kolkata UG 5-year placements 2023. Earlier, NIRF report 2023 is available.

As per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 39 out of 199 BSc students were placed during placements 2022. The median package offered to BSc students was INR 7 LPA during placements 2022.

IISER Kolkata offers admission to courses based on entrance exam. Candidates who have received the provisional KVPY fellowship award are eligible to apply for admissions.
