How to choose the right test for study abroad?

<p>While deciding about the tests that you need to take for studying abroad, you must consider the country as well as the intended course. For studying abroad, there are many standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, SAT, GRE, GMAT, ACT and few others. SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT are skill-based tests which are mainly required in top universities in USA and few other countries. Many undergraduate aspirants are required to take SAT or ACT for applying to universities in USA. For graduate courses, GRE and GMAT tests are required. Although both GRE and &lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/gmat/results-and-scores"&gt;<strong>GMAT scores</strong>&lt;/a&gt; are accepted by the universities, most MBA aspirants opt for GMAT, while engineering aspirants take GRE.<br>For international applicants, English proficiency test such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE is mandatory for study abroad applications.
