It depends on the institute in from which you want to pursue M.Sc. For example, There is no entrance exam conducted by Mumbai University for M.Sc in IT or M.Sc in CS. -

To get admission in IIT's or IISc for M.Sc, Ph.D or dual degree courses, you have to prepare for IIT JAM entrance test.
