    Hi Shrija,
For cracking GD/PI, you need to read a lot. Newspapers would be highly helpful as they would let you form an opinion and also the content is the hot topic for any GD (In case it is not abstract).
Apart from that I would suggest you read some books on Indian History, Geography and Polity. They also help you a lot in PI as well as GD.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Pranav

    HI Shrija,
As for the GD, start taking up a relevant topic for the day and speaking on it. You should be able to speak confidently in front of a mirror. Practise a topic daily from any good english newspaper. In you free time, try and read as much as you can about the current events happening - especially editorials to help with opinion forming.
Practising like this for GD would brush up your knowledge for PI as well. In addition, go back to the basics of you stream and start revising your undergrad syllabus (main concepts) as conceptual questions are generally asked. Make a schedule and stick to it.
