For GDPI, u need to be abreast with the current and static general knowledge. Read a lot. Be it newspaper or books. Yes , You certainly can do Phd after PGDM. GD topics can vary from very abstract topics to a current affair topic.
Make sure you voice your opinion and make valid points .
PI is usually a 10 -15 mins session , could be a technical PI or a generic PI .
The GD and PI is conducted after being shortlisted as per scores of the entrance exams.
