i got 396 marks what is a percent

Hi Rohit,
Can you elaborate as to which exam you have appeared for, what are the total number of marks etc. as different exams will have different way to calculate..in some exams they may consider percentile in some ranking would be considered. So, I would request you to please provide the complete

I guess 396 is out of 500. Then % is 396*100/500 = 79.20%

....? If you wanna find your % then sum all the marks you got in your subjects divide it by the total marks and multiply it by 100.
