How to get a part-time job while studying in Alexander College?

<p>Students studying at the Alexander College are allowed to enrol in part-time jobs. The<strong> Work Permit Program&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;allows the international students <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/canada/universities/alexander-college/admissions">studying at the Alexander College</a> to work in off-campus jobs.&nbsp;</p><p>Starting from Jun 1, 2014, there's a rule called R186 (v) that allows specific students to work off-campus without needing a work permit. They<strong> can work for up to 20 hours a week </strong>during the regular academic session and full-time during scheduled breaks, but a few conditions must be met:</p><ul><li>They should have a valid study permit.</li><li>They must be full-time students enrolled at a designated learning institution.</li><li>The programme they're in must be either a post-secondary academic, vocational, or professional training program, or a vocational training programme at the secondary level in Quebec.</li><li>The programme they're enrolled in should be at least six months or longer, leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate.</li><li>They need to continue following the terms and conditions of their study permit and the off-campus work conditions, like not working more than 20 hours a week during a regular academic session.</li></ul>
