More than 3,500 students are employed on the UW-Milwaukee campus, contributing their skills and enthusiasm to various campus departments and obtaining useful experience. At UWM, undergraduate and graduate students can work part-time jobs in fields, research labs, and offices. In certain rare circumstances, students from other schools may be permitted to work as student employees at UWM. Students are allowed to work 25 hours a week throughout the year (semesters and breaks ) EXCEPT for summer, when they may work more than 25 hours.
