    BITS Hyderabad admit candidates to BE courses based on merit in BITSAT. This entrance exam is conducted by BITS Pilani. Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria can apply and take the entrance test. The applications are accepted for BITSAT in online mode. Eligible students can apply by visiting BITS official website (bitsadmission.com). A merit list is released after the entrance test followed by the seat allotment procedure.

    To gain admissions in the BITS Hyderabad BE courses, candidates need to appear forthe BITSAT entrance exam. BITSAT is an entrance exam conducted by BITS Hyderabad itself where candidates who have passed Class 12 board exams in PCM stream with a 75% aggregate can appear to gain admissions into BITS Hyderabad. Candidates can apply for the BITSAT exam by visiting the official website of BITS Hyderabad.

    BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus offers four year Integrated Degree, Higher Degree, and PhD programmes. The Deemed University conducts the BITS Higher Degree Online Test  (BITS HD Online Test) usually in August for admission to M.E. and MPharm courses or accepts admission via GATE/ GPAT scores. BITS Pilani Hyderabad offers an annual intake of 960 students and offers admission based on valid scores of BITSAT.

    To get seat in BTech course at BITS Hyderabad, candidates must have a valid score in BITSAT exam, past academic record, specialisation preference.  Additionally, candidates must have completed Class 12 pass from a recognised board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Additionally, students should have at least 75% overall aggregate in Class 12 and at least 60% aggregate in each of the subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

    To get BE seats at BITS Hyderabad, candidates must have a Class 12 exam score and BITSAT scores. BITS Hyderabad BE course admission 2025 is based entirely on the candidate's past academic record, specialisation preference, availability of seats and score in BITSAT. However, direct admission is offered to first-rank students of all the Central and State boards to the specialisation of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2025 score.

    To get a seat in BITS Hyderabad for BTech, you need to follow these steps:

    • Apply for the BITSAT exam, which is conducted by BITS Pilani every year. You can apply online by visiting the official website.
    •  Prepare for the BITSAT exam, which consists of 150 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Logical Reasoning. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. You can check the syllabus, exam pattern, and sample papers here.

    Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for BTech at BITS Hyderabad can secure a seat by following the admission process. Eligibility criteria for BTech at BITS Hyderabad is a follows: 

    • A minimum of 75% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects
    • A minimum of 60% in each subject in Class 12

    Candidates must appear for BITSAT, which is a computer based test. Admissions are based on the performance of candidaets in BITSAT.  The last date to apply for BITSAT is Apr 18, 2025.
