To get a seat in CUSAT for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech. Lateral Entry), candidates should have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks. They can apply to the branch of Engineering/Technology in which they possess a diploma. Additionally, candidates with 3-year diplomas in Plastic Technology and Plastic Mould Technology offered by CIPET are eligible for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Lateral Entry. The maximum age limit is 25 years as of July 1st of the current academic year.
