To get a seat in CUSAT for M.Sc. in Chemistry, candidates must have a minimum of 75% marks at the +2 level of education with science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics). Additionally, preference is given to students possessing KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) scholarship.
The admission process involves a Departmental Admission Test (DAT). Candidates with a valid GATE score are also eligible for admission.
SEBC candidates of Kerala State belonging to non-creamy layer category are eligible for 5% relaxation in minimum required marks for the qualifying examination.
