    To get a seat in Haldia Institute of Technology for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or related fields from a recognised board. The selection process is based on WBJEE / JEE (Main) scores. For lateral entry, a Diploma in engineering is required, and selection is based on JELET scores. The total intake for Electrical Engineering is 120 seats.
