    To get a seat in Haldia Institute of Technology for BTech in CSE, candidates must have 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or related fields from a recognised board. The selection criteria are based on WBJEE / JEE (Main) scores. For B.Tech-Lateral Entry, the eligibility criterion is a Diploma in Engineering, and the selection is through JELET. The intake for Computer Science and Engineering is 300 seats.
