How to get a seat in Indira Gandhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.)?

<p>To get a seat in Indira Gandhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.), candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which includes: 1. Passing the 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects. 2. Completing the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. 3. Meeting the minimum qualification requirements, which includes a pass in any of the following examinations: - 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually.- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.</p> <p>Additionally, candidates who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course can apply for lateral entry (direct admission to the second year of B.Pharm). </p> <p>It is also important to note that there shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes. </p> <p>Each candidate shall undergo practical training in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing House or Laboratory or an approved Hospital/National Research Laboratory for not less than 300 hours to be covered in not less than 2 months during the course period. B. Pharm degree will be awarded only after getting the training certificate from the training institute.</p>
