To get a seat in Panjab University for M.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology, students who have passed the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology examination from Biotechnology Department, Panjab University are eligible for admission without an entrance test. For other students who have passed BSc in Biotechnology, admission is based on the entrance Test (PU-CET-PG) conducted by Panjab University and UG merit. There are 30 seats available, with 5 seats for the general category, 2 for SC, and additional seats. The fees for the course are Rs. 50,255 for the first year and Rs. 51,505 for the second year.
