    To get a seat in Punjabi University Patiala for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one subject amongst Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Electronics/ Entrepreneurship, having a minimum aggregate of 45% marks for General Category and 40% marks for SC/ST and Disabled Persons Categories. The admission is based on merit in the qualifying class.

The main criteria was you passed class 12 as a science student (PCB ,PCM ) both candidates can apply but commerce and arts students can't able to apply in this course
